Stop Intimidation of Community Representatives and Respect COVID-19 Support Requests

Today we launch the new website of the Cambodian Food Service Workers Federation (CFSWF). This goes hand in hand with a clear growth strategy, a membership & dues CRM, and an internal training program to strengthen our day-to-day practice.
Thanks to the Nomad Impact program, we have built these tools, trained our team, and set strong foundations for responsible, sustainable growth.

Why this matters now

Food service workers face unstable conditions: irregular income, unpredictable shifts, economic pressure. CFSWF is professionalizing to serve more members, speed up support (legal aid, organizing, campaigns), and increase transparency.

What’s new

  • A clearer website: updated information, Get involved / Join us / Volunteer / Donate pages, and a simple form to reach us.

  • A membership & dues CRM: member records, payment reminders, receipts, and a dashboard to track activity (sign-ups, payments, requests).

  • Documented processes (onboarding, case handling, campaigns) and safeguarding & data protection standards.

  • Stronger capacity: the team has been trained on the tools (site, CRM, reporting) and on handover documentation for continuity.

Our roadmap

  • Grow membership while improving service quality (response time, right focal point, follow-up).

  • Expand member support: worker-rights information, training, campaigns, and long-term accompaniment.

  • Transparency & accountability: simple indicators shared regularly (active members, dues recorded, actions delivered, member feedback).

We thank the Nomad Impact program for strategic, technical, and training support that enabled us to:

  • deploy a membership & dues CRM,

  • train the team for daily operations and document key procedures.
